For XX, environmental awareness to centre stage from the outset. The family company was founded in 1966 and produced adhesives for a wide range of areas of application. The decisionmakers recognised at a very early stage that the sealing of building envelopes in particular offered huge potential: because sealing makes it possible to improve energy efficiency while at the same time reducing CO2 emissions. This aware-ness resulted in XX establishing itself as a specialist in the field of building seals as early as the 90s. Today, we produce adhesives, adhesive tapes and membranes for sealing building envelopes for the Swiss market and the international market. We have formulated our vision based on our efforts to achieve a positive environmental impact: “We are striving for a world in which buildings do not waste energy.”

We would like to make our contribution to slowing down climate change. We are able to make a significant contribution to this with sustainable products for sealed, energy-efficient buildings: because a well-sealed building envelope prevents heated or cooled air from being lost and thus saves a lot of energy.
