“文明因交流而多彩，文明因互鉴而丰富”。本次活动是中国国际文化交流中心、中国国际文化艺术有限公司以“创意中国，增进人类了解，扩大共识”为理念，举办“一带一路·文明互鉴”系列交流项目之一。通过活动，加深英联邦成员国家对中国传统文化的认识和了解，对进一步深化双方民间文化交流与合作，架起了友谊的桥梁。
“Civilizations become richer and more colorful with exchanges and mutual learning.” As one of the “Belt and Road Initiative, Mutual Learning between Civilizations” exchange projects held by the CICEC and CICAC under the concept of “Creative China Enhances Understanding and Expands Consensus”, this event has enhanced the understanding of the nations within the Commonwealth about Chinese traditional culture, and set up a bridge of friendship for deepening people-to-people cultural exchanges and cooperation between both sides.
 
活动中，大使夫人们参观青铜主题书画作品展后，在宝鸡籍著名画家强雪云老师指导下，亲自动手体验以女性力量为主题的青铜纹饰团扇绘制活动。强雪云介绍了中国青铜文化发展及文明特点、中国团扇历史及文化价值，并从女性视角，赏析青铜器纹饰简笔画与其对应的青铜器历史。大使夫人们纷纷表示，通过此次活动让她们进一步了解中国博大精深的传统文化，体验到文化的多样之美，并希望有机会到宝鸡参观交流，进一步增进彼此的友谊。
Guided by native of Baoji Ms. Qiang, ambassadors’ wives personally experienced the painting of round fan with bronze ornamentation under the theme of women power after visiting the bronze work exhibition. Ms. Qiang introduced the development and civilization characteristics of Chinese bronze culture and the historical and cultural value of Chinese round fan, appreciated and analyzed the simple drawing of bronze ware ornamentation and the corresponding history of bronze work. Ambassadors’ wives said that this event enables them to further understand the brilliant and profound traditional culture of China and to experience the diverse beauty of culture. They also expressed their expectation of visiting Baoji and promoting mutual friendship.
 
活动仪式上，宝鸡市文化和旅游局局长、英联邦北京协会主席、尼日利亚联邦共和国驻华大使、尼日利亚联邦共和国驻华公使、中国国际文化交流中心副秘书长先后致辞。陕西省妇联与宝鸡市文旅局分别向英联邦北京协会、尼日利亚联邦共和国驻华大使馆赠送礼品。尼日利亚联邦共和国驻华大使向画家强雪云颁发“爱心书画家”和“民间外交家”荣誉证书。
Director of the Baoji Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Chairman of the CSB, Ambassador of Nigeria to China, Minister Counselor of Nigeria in China, and Deputy Secretary General of the CICEC delivered speeches, successively. The Shaanxi Women’s Federation and the Baoji Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism presented gifts to the CSB and the Embassy of Nigeria in China, respectively. The Ambassador of Nigeria to China awarded the honorary certificates of “Philanthropic Calligrapher” and “Folk Diplomat” to artist Xueyun Qiang.
