The Second Teaching Materials Training Course for Local U.S. Chinese Language Teachers, hosted by XXX, held by the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District in Los Angeles, Southern California, in cooperation with the UCLA and San Diego State University, came to an end on October 30, 2011. In total, 262 Chinese language teachers from Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Texas and Ohio registered for the training course, with another 20 people applying for it on the first day of enrollment. The participants were mainly Chinese language teachers working in the U.S. and educational administrative officials, such as educational inspectors from different school districts.

两天的学习，成果丰硕圆满，由XXX教材处组织的国内出版社专家向与会者介绍了汉语教材领域中的新发展及新成品，参加学习的汉语教师对培训班的顺利举办以及妥善安排都给予高度的评价和赞扬。
Two days of training proved to be a great success when experts invited by the Teaching Materials Division of XXX from the domestic press introduced the new developments and products in the area of Chinese language teaching materials, and then all the participating teachers spoke highly of the conducting of and arrangements for the training course.
