When the need for a high availability system was determined, we looked at XXX of course, and we looked at another vendor. But the big deciding factor was the fact that XXX has one chassis, one machine, instead of multiple machines in the high availability solution. And it will provide hardware redundancy, it will provide configuration, capabilities that we hadn’t had before. If the XXX for the Rockwell solution go down, the operator would be running blind, they don’t have a way to control the units or to see what’s going on with the units at that point.

The other aspect of the systems going down would be the lost data which is used by our corporate analytics team to provide prognostics and predicted maintenance on the units in the case that the components start to fail so that we can plan the down time instead of having an unplanned expensive outage. Now the XXX system is up and running in place, we never think about it.

The phone-home feature, combined with the fact that they immediately turn around and contact you whenever there is an issue, and will next day air fill the component outage for a replacement really has benefited us. I don’t have to lie in bed at night worrying about whether the Rockwell solutions is gonna go down or not.

If I have to give three words to describe our XXX experience, it would be reliability, configurability and sustainability. In the year that the XXX system has been employed on our facilities, performance has been exactly what we expected, the support model has exceeded our expectations, and things continue as we have seen and we can foresee having the XXX for a long long time.
