During the proceedings of the 2018 Annual General Meeting of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED), XXX joined hands with the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) and the Institutes of Science and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASISD) in organizing the Forum Session themed on “Innovating Development Path and Fighting Climate Change” on November 2, 2018. The parallel session was unfolded under the two themes of “New Economic Development Model and Climate Change” and “Institutional Innovation in Fighting Climate Change”.

In the capacity of the Vice Chairman of the CCICED, Xie Zhenhua, China’s Special Representative on Climate Change, and Achim Steiner, Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme, co-chaired and addressed the parallel session.
